Learn to Scuba dive with PADI Open Water Diver Course by completing 3 performance objectives
- Knowledge development
- Confined water dives
- Open water dives
Meeting each are essential for your Certification and for your foundation as a Lifetime Scuba Diver.
Knowledge development teaches the core principles all divers need to practice safe diving. In under five Sections you will be able to harness yourself with the proper tools in to be able to enjoy Nature’s most diverse Biodiversity and well for me staying underwater for more than a few minutes. Internalize the Manual, familiarize with the videos, study the basics to prepare you for the next steps. We will review your small quizzes and Knowledge Reviews in a classroom setting so you guys will be given a chance to ask questions and clarify things that confuse and concern you.
Next is the fun part, your first breath underwater in the Confined Water Dives. You can now put into practice the water skills and scuba diving principles you have learned in theory. We will essentially do it in a pool and help you gain the confidence for your first open water dives. You need to be able to do the Performance Requirements of 32 skills which I will write about in detail in my next blog entry.
The Last part completes your Course and solidifies your journey as an Open Water Scuba Diver with the Open Water Dive Training. Knowing what you know now from your confined water SCUBA Skills training and Water skills, you will confidently take your first plunge in the Ocean. Greeted by the fishes, I am sure you will feel welcome as soon as we descend. This will be your final classroom where you will perform the same skills you did in the pool there in the open sea. I will also teach you navigation and we will also re adjust your weights because again it is one of the PADI Aware requirements, to protect the ocean from our fins. You are now in their world, we are visitors of the so many microscopic species that are most times seen only with macro lenses. So by your fourth Dive, You and I will be confident enough to certify you towards a lifetime of adventure, exploration and fun.
